In 1889, Ontario Knife Company of Franklinville, NY began handcrafting quality cutlery that would eventually build a reputation and legacy of uncompromised workmanship for decades to come. Over the years, Ontario has received numerous awards and recognitions for their superb performance and commitment to the U.S. Military including: the 2007 Recognition for Excellence Award - Gold Level, presented by the Defense Supply Center Columbus (4 years in a row); the 2006 Materiel Readiness Award presented by the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA); and the 2006 Innovative Business Performer of the Year, presented by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
